FEES

The fee for fingerprinting, electronic submission and processing of your FAST FBI fingerprint request depends on the services you select, and includes access to your report on line and the tamper resistant copy mailed to you via first class mail from the United States Postal Service. Expedited delivery service is available upon request, including FedEx Day, (Next day means after your FBI report is completed – not always the day after your service), 2-3 day certified mail, and standard USPS mail, free. SAFEsky does not recommend using standard USPS mail due to the confidential nature of the information in the report.

  • 2. Schedule an appointment online.

  • 3. Bring a valid Government Issued Photo ID to your appointment. (i.e. Drivers License, ID Card, Passport.)

NCR will return a copy of your Criminal History Summary to you via US mail or FedEx. The service we provide is fast and secure. If you are a US Citizen or Permanent resident, you do not have to be physically in the United States to use this service. SAFEsky can help you, no matter where you are in the World. International applicants please email us at [email protected] to avoid expensive phone calls.

Only you can request a copy of your own Criminal History Summary. Individuals typically make this request for personal review, to challenge the information on record, to satisfy a requirement for adopting a child in the United States or internationally, or to satisfy a requirement to live, work, or travel in a foreign country (i.e., police certificate, letter of good conduct, Criminal History Summary check, etc.)

If the fingerprints are related to an arrest, the Criminal History Summary includes name of the agency that submitted the fingerprints to the FBI, the date of the arrest, the arrest charge, and the disposition of the arrest, if known to the FBI. All arrest data included in a Criminal History Summary is obtained from fingerprint submissions, disposition reports, and other information submitted by agencies having criminal justice responsibilities.

If you are requesting a background check for employment or licensing within the U.S., you may be required by state statute or federal law to submit your request through your state identification bureau, the requesting federal agency, or another authorized channeling agency.

You should contact the agency requiring the background check or the appropriate state identification bureau (or state police) for the correct procedures to follow for obtaining an FBI fingerprint background check for employment or licensing purposes. The report provided by SAFEsky is not valid for employment within the United States. Schedule your appointment online now.

There is no guarantee on processing times for record checks as the FBI does not process record requests on weekends, holidays, or other non-business days. The clarity and quality of the persons’ fingerprints greatly impacts the amount of time for the process to render results. Processing times may vary due to the volume of reports being processed.
